Dalle Chilli Masala Pickle is a popular and fiery-hot condiment originating from the North-Eastern region of India, particularly from the state of Sikkim. It is made from a variety of large, spicy red chilli peppers known as "Dalle" chillies, which are unique to the region and are known for their intense heat and vibrant color. The chillies are Heat-Pump Dehydrated and then mixed with various spices and seasonings to create the masala blend that gives the pickle its distinctive flavor profile. Fresh Organic Dalle Khursani a GI tag product from Sikkim is matured in mustard oil, turmeric and salt. This process mellows the heat of the chilli while oil become spicy. Packed in bottles the chilli has a SHU of 350,000. The serving size can be one Khursani per person if one is accustomed to eating spicy chilly. Best accompaniment with rice or chapatti or making chutney or sauce. Portion size will be half to one Chilli per person for first timers.
